Hello! How are you?
I grew up in humid South Texas and attended the University of Texas at Pan America. As a constant doodler in my classes, it was there that I found my love of art, specifically graphics and editorial design.
I started my career in advertising and then moved on to journalist design, where I designed engaging print covers and layouts for news & sports publications from coast to coast.
Through the Interaction Design Foundation, I continued to further expand my design skills, focusing on UI/UX skills.
I hope to transition from a graphic designer to a full-fledged UI/UX designer where I can further develop my skill set and grow. My influences range from minimalist to far-out retro design.
On a light-hearted note, I am a pizza slayer with a feisty dog named Taco, who keeps me on my toes. Before the world apocalypse, I enjoyed dancing at indie music shows, camping, and attempting to get the all-time high score in Ms. Pacman (still on the quest).
Please check out my Tumblr to read my design blog, where I showcase fun design techniques while reading about my wacky and fun day-to-day life. On a personal note, if you want to read about my lifestyle, opinions, and movie & game reviews, please visit my Medium.
If you would like to collaborate, email me, and let's chat!
